It protects your paint

Cast vinyl shields the clear coat from UV fade and road rash — paint stays showroom-fresh, which helps resale.

Frequently asked questions

How much can I actually make?+
More verified miles, busier corridors, visible parking, and bigger coverage all raise your rate. Metro full wraps typically run a few hundred dollars a month — the calculator gives a personalized estimate.
Will the wrap damage my paint?+
No — it protects it. Cast vinyl shields the clear coat; a certified installer removes it with zero paint damage.
Who pays for the wrap and removal?+
The sponsoring brand — design, install, and removal. Drivers never pay; early-exit terms are spelled out up front.
How do you verify my mileage?+
A lightweight GPS app or plug-in device logs paid miles — premium corridors earn more. Location data is used for campaign reporting only.
Can I do this with a leased or financed car?+
Financed — yes. Leased — usually; wraps aren't permanent modifications, but check your lease terms first.
Do I approve the brand and design?+
Always — exact brand, mock-up on your vehicle, rate, and campaign length before accepting. Declining never affects future offers.
Is the money taxable?+
Yes — sponsorship payouts are income (you'll receive a 1099 if you earn over the IRS threshold). Talk to your tax preparer; some drivers can also deduct a portion of vehicle expenses. We're not tax advisors, so get real advice for your situation.
How do referral fees work?+
Two tracks. Refer a driver: flat fees — $50 when they complete their first wrap, then $75 / $100 / $150 bonuses when they're still active at 3, 6, and 12 months (up to $375 per driver). Refer a sponsor: a percentage of their verified campaign spend — 10% of month one at launch, 5% at the 3-month mark, 5% at 6 months, and 10% at 12 months. Your referral just has to name you in the "Who referred you?" box when they sign up. Anyone can refer — you don't have to be a Adometr driver yourself.
What kinds of cars do brands want?+
Clean vehicles 2010 or newer, any make. High-mileage commuters on major corridors are gold. Light colors wrap best but any color works. Trucks, SUVs, and vans earn premium rates because of the larger canvas.
Can I wrap something that isn't a car — golf cart, trailer, boat?+
Yes. Golf carts and LSVs in cart-friendly downtowns and communities, box/work trailers, boats, and food trucks all take wraps beautifully — they just get paid differently. Since they don't rack up highway miles, sponsors pay a flat monthly placement fee based on where the asset lives and how many people see it (a golf cart cruising a busy downtown or a trailer parked on a visible corner can out-earn a low-mileage car). Pick your asset type on the application and we'll quote it that way.
