Chain link fencing for homes, businesses and job sites

What we install

• Galvanized chain link — the standard silver mesh, in residential through commercial gauges.
• Black or green vinyl-coated — visually recedes into hedges and tree lines far better than galvanized, and the coating adds a layer of corrosion protection.
• Heights from 4 ft to 12 ft, with top rail, bottom tension wire, and the appropriate terminal, corner, and line post schedule.
• Privacy slats woven into the mesh, or hedge planted against it, when you want screening at a chain-link budget.
• Commercial and industrial perimeters, storage yards, ball fields, dumpster enclosures, and construction fencing.

The details that matter

Chain link looks simple, and that's exactly why it gets installed badly. The mesh has to be stretched properly — a fabric that's merely hung sags into waves within a year. Terminal posts at every corner, gate, and end have to be heavier than the line posts and set deeper, because they're carrying all the tension. Tension bands, brace bands, and tie wires need to be spaced correctly, and near the water everything should be galvanized or coated. We do all of that as a matter of course.

Residential vs. commercial grade

Residential chain link uses lighter-gauge fabric and thinner posts, which is fine for a back-yard dog run. A storage yard, a job site, or anything carrying a heavy gate needs commercial-grade pipe and fabric. We'll tell you which one your job actually needs — there's no reason to sell you commercial pipe for a dog run, and no reason to put residential pipe around a business.

Gates

Single walk gates, double drive gates, and rolling or cantilever slide gates where a swing gate won't work. Large drive gates need properly sized posts and hardware or they'll sag and drag; that's the single most common chain-link repair we get called out for.
