The project
Homeowners in the community who receive a violation notice need plans, permits and corrective work, in that order. La Gala Construction, the licensed general contractor, runs the program. We built the portal that homeowners and staff use to move each case from intake to close-out.
What we built
- English and Spanish intake, with a required photo of the violation
- Three-phase, pay-as-you-go billing: on-boarding, plans and permit, then construction
- Payment recording with receipts emailed from the portal
- Phase tracking and document uploads for every case
- A field checklist with AI-assisted review of site photos
- Drawing export for the engineer
- An interactive site map of the community’s lots
- Staff roles and an admin dashboard

The portal is a logged-in application, so it is described here rather than linked. Licensed construction work is performed by La Gala Construction (FL CGC 059211). The photo review is a documentation aid; it is not an inspection and makes no finding about a property’s condition or code status.
