The project
Typing long prompts is slow. Send It Voice adds a microphone to AI chat apps and treats “send it” as the submit key, so a prompt can be dictated, corrected and sent without touching the keyboard.
What we built
- A Chrome extension that adds a microphone to major AI chat apps in the browser, including Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini
- Voice commands, including “send it” and “scratch that”
- A Windows desktop app with Whisper speech recognition and voice-activity detection
